Brief History of Homosexual Repression in Ukraine
Brief History of Homosexual Repression in Ukraine is a poster that lists events—from the 16th century until the present—that describe the ongoing repression of homosexuality in Ukraine. The poster was edited on the occasion of Carlos Motta's participation in The Future Generation Art Prize 2014 exhibition in Kiev, Ukraine, installed in public space in "city light" boxes throughout the city, and distributed as a take-away poster in Ukrainian and English. Made in collaboration with Ukrainian journalist Maxim Ivanukha.
