Indecency and the Future of Theology

The International Queer/Cuir VII
La indecencia y el futuro de la teología
Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires (MALBA)
October 15, 2016

La indecencia y el futuro de la teología brings together theologians and artists during October and November, 2016 at Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires (MALBA), to debate the provocative concept of "indecent theology" developed by Argentine theologian Marcella Althaus-Reid (1952–2009). Through performative, academic, and theological interventions, the speakers were invited to imagine the reform of the Catholic Church and its doctrine of moral exclusion from the perspective of sexual and gender differences, in search of new paradigms of social justice.
