A modo de volar is a series of 15 drawings inspired by Francisco de Goya’s Disasters of War and Los caprichos etchings that depict self-portraits by Carlos Motta in character. Amongst the scenes are the brutal punishments of the Inquisition, scenes of war and conflict, and a macabre rendition of difference.
