Untitled # 1, a video-performance in which hundreds of singles gloves arranged in a grid are burnt to ashes. A spectral figure attempts simultaneously to efface the evidence of this action by cleaning away the ashes and washing the floor.The gloves used for this work were collected in the winter of 2001 from the streets on New York City.
